About the event
Note: This event is for ages 18 and up We know from ourselves that it can be challenging to find clothing that reflects how you want to express yourself and that makes you feel at home in your body. That's why we have created a cozy, welcoming and safe DIY space for everyone (especially people who identify as queer, trans, non-binary, genderfluid, etc.) to explore and experiment with their own and their clothing's expression.
Here you can get help on how to re-sew, adapt and upcycle your clothing it feels just right for you and your body.
The talented textile mediator Andrea Sode will be with us to guide, advise and provide tips.
Description of Andrea:
"I work with clothing design and styling and try to create space for cuteness and a sense of meaning in an industry that can feel edgy, difficult and often unethical. I graduated from the Textile Mediation Program in 2023 and also work in a leisure club where I facilitate creative activities."
Practical information:
There is room for 12 people.
We provide
